Satin Banners are more eco-friendly than you think!

Why is Satin better than Vinyl?

The Banner Lady prints on the highest quality Satin to create beautiful, environmentally friendly banners for events, expos, corporate offices, receptions, boardrooms, display rooms and anywhere our customers want to display their brand.

Satin banners enhance vibrant colours, reproduce high definition graphics and images and ensure superb resolution of our customers corporate logos.

Additionally, our Satin material is recyclable and all of our off-cuts and samples are recycled through community programs in collaboration with the Reverse Art Truck. We encourage all of our clients to send back to us old banner skins and we recycle them on their behalf. To find out more, please review our news release.

Safe Water Based Inks

Our Satin banners are printed with environmentally friendly water soluble inks, which are much less harmful to the environment.

On the other hand, vinyl banners use solvent-based inks, which can be cancer causing and are made from a non-renewable resource (oil).

Efficient Technology

We only use dye-sublimation printing technology as it ensures that we can fully utilise the benefits of water soluble inks.

Our ink is transferred to our unique Satin fabric using pressure and a temperature of approximately 200°C. The ink transforms into a gaseous state that penetrates the fibers of the Satin fabric, infusing and embedding an image into the Satin. This sublimation process is permanent because the image actually becomes part of the Satin.

The result is a brilliant image quality that will not peel, crack, shrink or fade.

Reducing Our Emissions

Our Satin banners are very light, about one third the weight of an equivalent vinyl banner, therefore our Satin banners use up to 70% less material and energy in their production and transportation.

Re-Use and Recyle

Unlike vinyl, our Satin banners can be recycled meaning less wastage into landfill. Once vinyl has been printed on, it cannot be recycled.

Our display stands are manufactured in Melbourne, made from 100% recyclable aluminium and come with a Lifetime Guarantee. They are also extremely lightweight reducing the amount of emissions required to transport and save our customers thousands of $$$ in freight and one use only exhibition build costs.

Our Satin banners enable our customers to have a fully re-useable and easily transportable exhibition display stand that can be adapted to suit each event.

A Lifetime Guarantee

Our Premium Range banner stands are 100% reusable, tough, durable and allow our unique Satin banners to be easily changed over by our customers.

Our simple Satin replacement system allows our customers to have banners displayed as single and double sided, allowing our customers to change their satin banners to keep their branding fresh without the need for replacement display stands.
